Just 2 quick questions...……...
1. Can anyone remember what that liquid window / leak fluid is called. You let it run into fine spaces such as around the windscreen and it runs through any fine gaps, then dries? I cant for the love of me remember what its called but I think it began with 'S'....
2. My old girl (Discovery TD5 Series 2), loses water slowly from the header tank. Not huge amounts, just needs topping up with about 1-2 pints of water every 200-600 miles. I know there is likely a suspect somewhere like a leaky rad or water pump, but because its so small, what's peoples thoughts about just throwing in some 'rad seal' or not. I know some say it can gunk everything up, but given that its just a small loss (and annoying), is it worth just throwing in some rad seal as a temp / longer term solution. (I hope its not a cracked head or gasket pushing it out) but again, is there anything I can add like that liquid metal or whatever its called to do a temp seal,
Thanks for any advice in advance... as always, I usually get some fab responses on here as opposed to other social media places where you often get a load of 'joke'y comments and no real answers'...
