(I'm trying here for 'most trivial enquiry' )

Where is the non return valve on the windscreen washers? The screen wash has just started to run back a bit so that I no longer get an immediate strong jet but a spluttery half hearted squirt. (There, that should get some comment from TC Alan! :D ) I'm thinking there must be a NRV failed or a bit blocked somewhere. Works ok second time.

Drivers side of bonnet. From front follow pipe to left from T off for drivers side jet, should be along there.

PS. How dare you suggest that my mate Alan would make anything like an unsavoury remark? :D:D

Thanks, found it. Typically though, its not somewhere handy, but is actually in behind and underneath the cooling fluid tank..
Now the usual challenge of repairing the un-repairable. Can I get a sealed plastic thing to bits without terminally knackering it? I'm going to try anyway :)

Just try blowing through it both ways should clear any ****e out. Or if you have a large syringe blast some water through it.

Yup, tried that. No joy. So levered the top off (its not sealed, just a push fit) to find little bit of crap stuck under the thin rubber diaphragm. All working fine again. Thanks! :)

Cool, obviously my recommendation did not work cause it was crap causing the problem and not ****e. Must remember that one. :D:D:D

It is important to get the terminology just right when dealing with technical stuff! :D:D

Well, I must say I don't know where to start, what with a spluttery half hearted squirt, a good blow through to clear the ****e, levering it's top off, and crap under the diaphragm !! A wealth of innuendo and double entendre but at least you have full flow now, should get it really wet. :D:D
