Hello Urban P.

The 22 en 23 are the ecu's with a software bug "thumping noise on even road", the 24 replaced them. I will have to check if the m8 is usable.

Regards Gerhard

Hey Gerhard,

It's been a month since BB took over from Mattia.
Have they responded and resolved your issue for you?

Yes im told that any faults, bugs, spelling mistakes etc etc will be looked at for all users even if that user for the nanocom from a non bbs supplier.

Looking at them hasn't helped so far...maybe actually doing something positive to fix them and also contacting customers could be the way forward..but that would be a first.

:D actions speak louder than words

I have been to the dealer today and hooked up the Testbook system: Yes, the ECU is recognized as a New ( virgin) part. Recalibrating failed becaused testbook stopped the process due to logged faultcodes, but there aren't any stored.

1. There is a bug in Nanocom. DO NOT USE SET CALIBRATED AN SET TESTED!!!!!!!!!

2. My Ecu's are ****ed!

3. Some faultcodes are "mislabeled" in Nanocom

Hope BBS will iron out these problems very soon.

Gerhard, I do know of someone else who had this problem and it was rectified by using Autologic as that has the ability to energise the relay etc.

Hello Urban P.

Had the ecu's hooked up on a testbook, did not work because testbook stopped on faultcodes logged in the ecu. Log was empty and erasing did not help.

Just bought a secondhand one from ebay.

Regards Gerhard

So much for "Our reaching out to save this product and taking on so many aspects of the manufacture and supply of the Nanocom evolution has relieved the situation and now anyone emailing support@nanocom.it can expect a reply from either a member of BBS staff or Mattia as applicable, which is certainly an improvement for existing owners. They can also expect much more in the way of releases of bug fixed / updated software now too."

No updates on the Nanocom website either.

Fanatic summed it up succinctly in his previous post.

"Our reaching out to grab as much cash as this product can generate with as little support as possible and taking the **** by occasionally falsely promising to update customers on so many aspects of the manufacture and supply of the Nanocom evolution has really paid dividends as we've had extra time to hide our assets before we go bust, it's a win win situation for us and now anyone emailing support@nanocom.it can expect jack**** in the way of a reply from either a member of BBS staff or Mattia as we're too busy getting a tan with your money here in Cyprus, which is certainly a kick in the testicles for existing owners. They can also expect nothing more in the way of releases of bug fixed / updated software now too. We certainly do know how to take you all for a ride, so long suckers!!"

That is all.

Fairenough, but I did say Autologic, not Testbook. ;)

Well that's BBS support at it's finest then-gob off at you when you have an issue and then leave you up **** creak without a paddle.

I expected genuine concern and a sincere wish to help you resolve it-I guess that Colins money grabbing ways have not changed.

Hiya Madtom

It seems the Set tested function in the Nanocom system inadvertently also clears the set calibrated flag, resulting the ECU behaving as a Virgin one.

This will obviously be fixed in the next firmware upgrades.
In the meantime, you simply need to aways to run the two accelerometer calibrations and the set calibrated function after using the Set tested one

My reply:

It would have been nice if you mailed this solution to me, the OP. In the moment a used ecu is sent from the UK to me. If you cam up with an answer sooner it saved me 60 pounds.

Sadly this is Colin who I posted the article on previously, there was no need for his behaviour.

All that was required was a quiet email to you and to work through the issue

What a rude pious prat you are! You obviously can't handle criticism.
Everyone who pays you money, including the OP, should get equal treatment, irrespective! I find your attitude extremely offensive.

Daryl.
