Haha the 'sunspot' comment was just one of those Chinese whisper things that used to go around, alot of the prob was sideband with am and fully banded midlanders, you'd go on e or f band you could hear em clear as day lol

thanks evey one and cheers for the link shaun i have loads to look into now been borrowing one no one seems to be using it near me but the ariel i have is cut down but went up to top of castle hill in huddersfield and got a clear reception on channel 2 but sounded more like a radio station than anything.
