Hi all sorry I was taken I’ll, mine I a 2.5 dse 1997 , a friend put his snap on solus it came up with brake switch changed that, also fuse box under bonnet was a little damp changed that too,but it still comes up with on the dash, fuse 6, 7, 17 not working, abs warning light and gearbox fault, checked fuses under seat and no power to 6 n 7 all others ok , fuse 17 under bonnet ok , baffled.

I think Wooly hijacked your thread with his petrol. @wammers is the diesel guru. He's the man you need.

You say new fusebox. Where from? There are quite a few different ones iirc. What part number was yours?

Gearbox fault common with low volts.

You cannot just swap a fuse box unless you swap with the correct one, there are at least three different ones.

When you changed brake switch did you set it correctly as per Rave and I wouldn't guaranty the snapon solus is reading things right.

The fuse box is the correct one checked part no and chassis no on Microcat confirmed by my supplier , th car is off to London on Tuesday to a garage that has the diagnostic equipment to find faults , I will keep all informed on progress
