If all else fails, I would have thought breakers would have spares for the Edc system. I'm sure most good engines get converted back to manual.

Out of interest, what are the symptoms of a faulty no. 4 injector?

I sold an auto for spares last year and was to get the pump and injectors back, finally got most back today but only one injector, albeit the important no 4.
 
Ken no 4 has a wire to comnnect other three are normal i will buy the no 4 off you if you dont need ii
it has a coil in the top and sends a signal to the ecu i pressume
the no for no 4 is err3337 the other 3 are err 3338. on the new system they are all the same err3339
i need no 4 err3337

I'm always ready to help but very reluctant to part with this injector as it's a spare for my nice Tdi auto sitting in the shed. It and the pump were the items I specifically asked to be returned. Please try around, say the local breakers first. As I've already said, there are plenty of these being broken or converted. If you're absolutely stuck, well, I'll see.
 
Thanks ken your a star i will have a scout round but i live in the sticks a bit and there arnt many car breakers riund here buf ill try discodan hasnt come back yet whether he gas one or not thanks again chat soon
