Anyone got a TD5 auto at a sensible price? Prefer 5 seater without air susp. Don't mind doing work as long as I can get it home.. Private buyer, wife has weak left leg following injuries and can't manage clutches on a 90 or a manual Disco - it's been expensive finding that out.... sigh.. Would also go for that extremely rare beast, an auto 90. There are a few conversions about..

Having done a few like this, I suggest a SERVO in the clutch fluid line might be one alternative solution!

Finding a space for it might not be so easy, but it certainly works, and makes for a very light clutch,

Hi Charles, Thanks for that. I had thought about that possibility when I had my last manual Landy but I don't have one at all now so feel that I may as well buy an auto in the first place. Our main car is a tiptronic VW V6 TDi and we wouldn't willingly go back to a manual shift even with a light clutch, though if I still had the manual I would go down the servo route.
