For the petrol yes 38mm spanner 32 mm for the diesel and a lump hammer is all I've ever needed.U
I use mole grips on mine and a long screwdriver on the bolt head to stop the pump turning. Dead easy

Cheers matey!Hi Mike I have a piece of flat bar about 12" long 1" wide and about 3/8 thick When I've come across a stubbon one a belt with lump hammer with bar on nut and bang , always worked for me. Shock loosens it then use the spanner. As said coppaslip and just nip up when refitting
