Front turrets need replacing. They've allowed the dampers to pull through so it bottomed out quite a bit on the drive. Easy to sort though. Rear 1/4 chassis is a spanking good crossmember. Rest if the chassis is in excellent nick. Just a tiny bit if welding on a spring hanger to do.

After a jet wash with some acid to help clean off the grime, the engine bay has cone up lovely!

Well Mrs vil will be getting a treat in the post!

New indicator lenses
New tubular turrets
new turret rings
pedal rubbers
rear upper shock bushes (oems not polys)
new mirror to replace the cracked one

wow im such a good husband :)

It was covered in thick gunk. TFR works a treat on oily engines though :) its only done 90,000 and its totally original, got all the paperwork with it too!
Everything works, im totally stunned!

Man you know how to treat a lady, stop it! If my wife ever catches a glimpse of this I'm doomed I tell ya.

New set of front dampers just ordered :) itll be like christmas this week!

treat em nice, get less..... ice? (ive no idea what the opposite of treat em mean keep em keen is!)

Anyway, ordered new seatbase for her, so she can sit down without fear of a syringe sticking her :p (there was quite a few in there and I havent finished cleaning it out yet... maybe i should be wearing armoured gloves!)

When all the bits turn up, will be helping Vilgurl fit them, but she is to do it herself :p

lots of pressies arrived in the post today, will be helping vilgurl fit them this weekend :)

A true woman, multi tasking, cooking dinner whilst fitting pedal pads, a new wing mirror, indicator lenses and gear knob oh and helping child two fix her limo!!

I love the excuse
Here love, I got this for you )
I might try that one, I would love another landy

Bravo - you have a keeper there. SWMBO won;t even ride in my Rovers except in emergencies. :(

Re: Acid in the wash water for pressure washing: Do tell - never heard of this. How does one go about it?

Alan

I just buy in bulk and spray it on with a 1ltr plant sprayer, £15 for 20 ltrs and i mix it 1:1 for use in engine bays. Its obviously not super dooper strong stuff. But good enough! Cuts through oil and stuff very well.

ok today Mrs vil fitted her own windscreen wipers, replaced the rear indicator body and the front seat base units.
I was undoing the front bumper bolts with a bit of man muscle of all but one came out, the remainder snapped. What are you to do in this circumstance as i cant see how to get it out without getting out the grinder!

oh we fixed the window too, it had popped off its regulator. So its now watertight.... for a 90

The pressed aluminium numberplates have arrived, and the tubular damper turrents. Well pleased with the numberplates :) they look really cool!
Not sure on the best method of fixing them, not a fan of the adhesive strips, but not that keen on drilling them either!

cant have both i suppose
