Also Unimogs are massive, but they look tiny compared to what some of those people are rocking!!

Don't the mogs look small!!

Some are definitely drawing a fair amount of H2O through, and when you look at the money spent on those trucks it is ridiculousness to think someone overlooked sealing the snorkel!

Looks like there was a fair few tomcats and landys and even a fairly stock looking 110 in that rally , cant find footage of them crossing the river though

How do they manage to keep running with all that water going through the engine (the ones spitting it out of the exhaust):confused::confused:
Is it just because of the size of the engine that they can put up with it:confused::confused:
 
You can pour water quite fast into a running internal combustion engine and it will gobble it up quite happily, believe it or not. Decarbonises quite well too, lots of YouTube vids if you have a look.

That may be the case, but you can also bet your landy none of that gobbling was intentional!!

Did think about that, but would the positive pressure in the exhaust suck water in, or just let exhaust out:confused::confused: I suppose if it was a big hole in the eggsauce it would:confused::confused:
 
The scary thing is , having worked for some time in fsu states, those russian trucks , i wouldnt trust one to take me along a british a road never mind through a river - but they do it. Most of them sound like a bag of crap and are are rustier than a series 2 sat in a field for 20 years !
