The movement feels more like its the rubber moving more than the bearing though. But I guess that would have the same effect of the prop no just spinning.
Bet the missus doesn't want it sorted.Greetings and salutations , to one and all. Welcome to 'have a guess corner'. Golden girl has now had propshaft replaced, all diffs/oil checked, wheel balance done, tyres/ tyre pressures correct and the guys at Gibsons still can't get to the bottom of this vibration at 55mph. they have tried it on the rolling road and there is vibration through exhaust but all bolts and mounts are secure, engine is secure in bay. He managed to replicate it at 30mph on a hill but still no further forward.
As an extra bit of info, there is no audible noise so cannot use chassis ear , also number 6 injector was firing too high but has now been replaced and all outputs are spot on.
So come one, come all, let's have your best guess or solution , the floor is yours ....................................
I am the missus and it's not that strong a vibrationBet the missus doesn't want it sorted.
I will hang my head in shame, I've a tractor with square wheels if your interested.I am the missus and it's not that strong a vibration

Bugger I've been sussed. If you have done the prop and all the mounting are ok, I don't known about the L322 but vibration will be transmitted on the 38 if the crankshaft damper on the crank pulley is on it's way out. hope this help's.Other than using your tractor for offroad pleasures, any idea on the mystery vibration? Or did you just pop in for a perv
I'm going to gather all ideas/guesses/solutions together and give them to the guys at Gibsons. eventually one of them might be it. So every little helpsBugger I've been sussed. Anything that revolves and is worn/unbalanced will cause vibration.I may be talking through my arse (I don't even own a Range Rover - at least not one that's road legal) but don't torque converters cause vibration problems if they are on the way out?
I wait for others who know what they are talking about to shoot me down in flames.
