Is it definitely road speed related as opposed to engine speed? Do you get the vibration at the same revs but in Neutral?
Thanks. It's a PITA that is the TC , especially as I had been concerned it was that initially and continued to drive , thinking it was the U/J. Still you live, you learn.I hope that you are on track to a solution - good luck!

Hope you get it sorted.Well it looks like there is an answer. When I first dropped it off a few weeks ago to be checked out, I had said ' I hope it's not the dreaded TC ' but with the U/J having play it was thought that was the issue. However, with further investigation by the guys at Gibsons and a little research from myself, it is now 99% positive that it is the TC.
So I have been given the name of a company in Glasgow called http://caledoniantrans.com/ , so it'll be a phone call tomorrow, to see what happens next.
It can be the start of a failing torque converter, try the very gradual acceleration up a slight incline and see if it does it with a slight movement in Rev counter needleI did read somewhere that this vibration is the start of a failing gearbox. Anyone else heard that or am I imagining it?
Getting to the point it will soon just be the body shell and seats, although a$$holes also damaged the leather on back seat, so even part of that will be brand new!!like mine, there can't be much of the original car left ?
£5k ! you'll be lucky 5 bob is about rightBy the time i have spent £20k on my £6K car it should be worth £5K
Fingers crossed all goes well for you. although with my luck you'll be wishing I didn't look in the direction of yoursFair one, I'm just about to do all the timing gear and vanos so if I make a cluster of that I'll be paying the scrap man to take it away
Check your oil levels thenamazingly for the mileage and being a landrover it's completely dry underneath
