Dears
i have workshop for RR Could any guid where i can find used parts store on line with good prices?

Thanks alot
I find the following the best and easiest place to start, when looking for parts. It is simple to use and brings up many to compare
https://www.google.com

P.s May I suggest you stop calling us "dear/s". It is not a term in common usage, in every day English, when addressing a group or individual. In my own case it makes me think of Nigerian scammers and makes me even more unwilling to help you.

Noted with thanks

Ebay is where I get most of my stuff from. Or you could strike up a relationship with someone like Tomcat's friend, Charles. Posting to Libya might make them think twice though. How likely is the stuff to get through?!

I think he would struggle with most of the usual routes, used in non 'interesting' parts of the world. Hence, Google ;)

It's hard enough to get UK suppliers to post to France, not much hope where the OP is.

Yes, that's why I though a relationship with a breaker might help. As long as they insure what is sent.

Shipment to Libya of the following items is prohibited
• Used Cars

• Used Equipment and Machinery

As well as quite a few other things. He is in Libya, so must know he cannot receive such things.

As that one is 2013, if anyone wants the specifics, how about a read through all of the below. I know if it was me, it would be too big a risk and too much hassle to legally send used car parts , which anyone with a bit of know how can adapt,to some guy in the supposed middle of nowhere, in Libya.
Hell if you can't send an inflatable boat or outboard motor, how stupid would you have to be to send engine parts, etc.
So here you go my corrected information

*note that dual use is wide ranging and , basically means, anything that anyone could adapt to be a weapon or from part of a weapon is covered by it. It's actually a lovely piece of terminology if you enjoy such things. We used to have a Section in the Army Act 1955 which had the same blanket coverage and nicely enough they wrote it into the Armed Forces Act 2006. It basically says, if nothing else covers your offence, this does. Whilst the dual use means, just because it isn't listed as restricted, doesn't mean it's not restricted. Just got to love such things :)

Last time i spoke to him he did not know the difference between a pre EGR head and post EGR head. He was selling a pre EGR head without positions for plastic manifold as suitable for all P38s from 1994 to 2002. Tried to explain it to him he wouldn't have it.

Get quite a lot of that on the Bay. I corrected a seller on the part numbers for traction control. Not interested.

Recently there was an Ebay seller offering a turbo control relay for the P38. £68 for a part that is for the TD4:eek:

We are Almost in 2019:)

Had some experience of Libya many years ago under Gadaffi. Getting a fridge fixed was like that scene with the gorilla plumber in the film, Brazil. Guess it has all changed now.
