Im heading up to st andrews this afternoon and will be passing through kirkcaldy, so if my assistance is needed the offers there.

Status report .......?

Hi guys...i did post my number last night on the thread & also said that i had given up last night n hoped someone may be around during daylight hours to maybe assist better. Seemingly i need textbook or the unlock thing to reset suspension??
car still in same situation as last night tho... still on its butt all round

Unfortunately not. I understand that having the diagnostic tool is best and easiest way of resetting the ecu but if you over rode and bridged the pins to have the pump running, which didnt work, does that not indicate a fault somewhere that even resetting wouldnt fix?

Q for you rangie guys - if a bag has gone, can it still be raised? I would have thought not.

I am not aware if any local peeps with diags. Assuming there arent any, whats the next option, blocks?

How did you move it if the tyres were rubbing?

I've no idea....a few different options to try yet that ive seen around the net....one saying that i shouldve left one of the doors open last night so that the pump fills the tanks as it prevents the the suspension from trying to raise or adjust at same time.
Ive checked the bags & all look good on all 4 corners

I moved it with tyres rubbing.... not a pleasant experience and that was only about 1/4 of a mile to a relatives house.

Bags look all good, no perforations etc

When the connector was bridged could you hear air leaking anywhere?

No where at all mate.... had it running for a good 10 mins & checked under on each corner as it was running.
Before i done this i also put water around all the block pipes to make sure no leaks from the pipes either where they push into the valve block

Yeah - but you know more than most about these systems.

Whats the options, Wammers. Why is it not rising, can he jack it and use blocks?

Any advice? Not matches.

Don't have a clue there can be a few reasons. Could be an electrical glitch which may be sorted with diag. Could be he has a leak that the compressor has been feeding and the compressor has failed. Just because it runs doesn't mean it is making usable air. One thing he needs to do when he does get it up and running is make sure he has bumpstops in place. Unless he has daft tyres fitted the car sitting on the bumpstops should not rub on the arches and be drivable. Uncomfortable but drivable. Paying to be in AA relay is a good idea with any car with one of these it's a VERY good idea.

I'm with GEMS Assist wammers but as they said they wouldnt be able to fix it roadside last nite when i called them.
Did offer to recover me but i took chance to drive it the quarter of a mile.

That's not supposed to happen with 18"s. Probably are missing the bump-stops. You've really only two options, lift it onto blocks as people have suggested or now that its at your relative's house if it can stay there, start to work on the whole thing. Lots of threads in here, many excellent ones by Wammers. Trick is to be as focussed and thorough as you can. Pneumatic circuit and electrical circuit, two things going on here and you need to run through them point by point. You will need to reset the faults first though.

Don't lose hope. EAS is fiddly but its not hard. And it rides a lot nicer than springs. :)
