Yeah MHM taught me everything he knows on 'the art of numptiness'. He wrote da book on it :p ;) :)

Sorry for getting you reved up!!! Don't have a freelander so I don't know. But still don't take no ~hit of them dealer monkeys, you can still vent off about your spare key though!

Landrover's should'nt be clean anyway even the engines! When you get it serviced they should give it a blast off for you!

If your tempted to power wash the engine off yourself be carefull don't get water in your electrics etc!

we all "like" Joll - but thats blokes 4 ya ;)

Thanks, don't know whether to be flattered or terrified! You're a very helpful & friendly bunch but, it has to be said, everso slightly warped!!:D

Ok, I know I own a Landrover & live out in the sticks & its gonna get dirty, but seriously, is it ok to get under the wheel arches with the jet hose/pressure washer? And what about the engine, surely I can't use it under the bonnet?

Also while I'm here, I have real problems when I fill it with diesel - the pump keeps stopping and I have to keep jiggling the nozzle & it takes ages. I had an MGF when they first came out and I'm sure that was the same. Is this a common problem?

flattered ;)
yu call me warped - and yu run a Hippoo! - thats rich ;)
ok to use pressure washer, but try and keep it out of electrics in engine bay.:(
known problem - its an air lock in the filler nozzle. think there are a few threads about it - do a search...

could be cos yer shovin it it too far..be gentle wiff it and just put the tip in that usually cures the spurtin all over the place.

Just spoken to dealer, and he's just described exactly what I can see on two freelanders in show room and said thats how it should be. Gap/hole is there to allow movement for the steering rack/suspension? Is this right? Can you see through your cars?!!

That's how it is on our two Freelanders.

Cheers

Blippie
