Hi guys,

I've just picked up a Discovery Diesel - 3.0 SDV6 306 HSE Commercial Auto (2019) which is a company vehicle.

First time driving it today and an info notice came up stating that an issue had been detected with suspension so drive carefully. This in itself isn't an issue as the vehicle is being taken in for a service next week. However, when i try and activate cruise control it states 'Cruise is not available'. I have a really long drive tomorrow, and was banking on the cruise control as I'm recovering from a hip operation. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was thinking that the cruise control is being overriden by the info notice relating to the suspension. If this could be it, is there anyway to reset everything? I'm open to any other suggestions!

Thank you!!!

Yes. Find out the issue with the suspension.

When a major system is in limited operating mode (limp mode) then its not uncommon for other systems to be deactivated. This means things like CC, HDC, or TR will be shut down, until the suspension issue is resolved.

Thank you. Is it possible to override the restriction to get cruise control working?

No. It needs to go to LR to have the suspension fault diagnosed and rectified, at which point any systems that have been disabled, will function again.
