Any North East bods fancy meeting up sometime then? Brew and a blether, kick some tyres, commiserate over the most recent bit to drop orf, go clang or crunch or maybe just goggle at any really nice Landys that turn up and wonder how you're ever going to have enough spare cash or time to do that to yours. :D Be handy to actually know a few more bods in the area with LRs, swap ideas, tips, handy people/suppliers to know etc.
Mine probably won't be rolling again till week after next while the gearbox is getting replaced so some time after that? Anybody up for it? :)
I'd be up for a meet up rouge trooper!

Yes that's fine and sounds good. Just keep in touch and we can hopefully get organised to meet abouts October!

Almost motivated to do my v8 front cover and come along, failing that I may come in my Hyundai

You'd have to park across the road :p:D

So we have people from Durham and Newcastle so somewhere inbetween... My local would be perfect but then all you Internet weirdos would know where I live :eek:o_O:p

I've thought of a good pub with a view of the car park :p

It's the Ship Inn at Eighton Banks, half way ish between Newcastle and Durham and a car park big enough for several landies...

Sounds like a plan. But there are a few others in the area who haven't found this forum yet I'm sure. Only found it myself yesterday. This new setup has got me tied in knots.

I've made a sticky thread in the introduce yourself section to try to guide people to this area of the forum so that might help :)

sounds like a plan is forming.

"A plan so cunning you could stick a tail on it and call it a fox!"

You can bring your Hyundai cooltide, got plenty time to make it a wee cardboard Landy costume to wear to the party :D I just thought it'd be a good idea to get a few localish members together as not all of us can get to the larger meets and it's very handy to know someone round the corner for when bits drop orf!

We do need a large car park like wot Rosie said, some of us need the turning area y'know. (Actually with worrying grinding noises my 90 has a pretty nifty turning circle ;))
If the Ship Inn's the one I'm thinking of then it's this one? Nice enough place to meet, sounds good.

It's great up there. I used to commute up that neck of the woods quite a lot. Would love to get to that meet but will have to wait until next years big meeting is announced.
Geordie is the best accent, all the ladies sound like Cheryl! :)

Main event has been announced, there is a thread in the relevant section :)

I don't have a Geordie accent ;)
