Is it waxoyl or shot blasting and underseal. Really it would look better black does waxoyl do that ? and any places in my area that does it ? would be appreciated.

Think the rust comes as standard.cleaned the back end of my chassis couple of months back.used rust converter, sprayed inside chassis and out with black waxoyl.and already showing signs of comin through.

Once rust starts its there till the end you can clean it back and treat it but it's all ways going to come back
It needs to be cut out and replaced with good metal but with something like a chassis you can't do that
My discovery has started to rust on the rear part of the chassis anything I do to it will just buy me some extra time but I know I will have to replace the chassis in the end

Yeah thats what I thought. I spoke to the waxoyl place thats opened in Mobberley near Knutsford, and the set price is £450 + vat. I dont want to fork that out to have the rust come back so quick. I will de-rust it and hammerite it bit by bit. My concern is when I come to unbolt stuff under there to replace things they are going to be rusted solid. Lots of wd40 may help when the time comes. :)
