Bought a new UJ for the rear prop from Paddocks but it seems to be too big for the yoke. I put one cup in with the circlip but the opposite one wont go in anywhere near far enough for the circlip to go there. Any chance i got the wrong UJ?

Take it back out and check to see if any of the pins have fallen over ;)

when i replaced mine i had a similar problem.
take the uj out and check that there isn't a burr or a dent in the edge of the yoke stopping the cup from going all they way in.

if their is a round chainsaw file should sort it easy enough

greasing the cups wont do any good if yu have a burr in the housing (or if yu crushed a housing in the vice ).
