Pick a nice hot week in the summer.
Give it a good clean / pressure wash.
Waxoyl it ( i use a compressor and parafin gun).
After doing it thoroughly the first time, I now give it a quick clean and waxoyl every summer.

My preference is angle grinder with a wire brush in it for anything with rust bubbles or loose rust then spray old sump oil on minding your sensitive bits . Repeat every time she’s on the ramps.
I was working on an L322 today which had some major bubbles. Took them off and now ready for the oil or cream as the oil donor car had a blown head gasket
