Just bought a spare set of wheels with tyres ready for the spring/summer and was wondering if was better to store them ready to fit or whether to deflate them stack em up if they are to be unused for a while? I've done a search and can't find owt..Thanks.

doesn't matter.. Just keep em off the floor in a dry place out of direct sunlight..

If they are BRAND NEW then will be ok, if they have been driving might be worth giving a coat of Petroleum jelly or similar to help keep the rubber in good steed.

Just keep them out of direct sunlight, any sort of oil can (not 100% will, but might) effect the rubber.

Sunlight definitely effects it, but to be fair to tyres it takes years for them to degrade badly.

If they are still on the rims keep them inflated and store them upright. On a pallet or similar would be best. Keep them protected from oil, grease, petrol, sunlight etc. About once a month rotate them a bit so that they don't sit on the same area all the time.
Off the rims you can store them stacked up but again change them round every so often.
