I am looking at getting new tyres for my disco 1 at size 245/75/16. And compared to online they seem pretty expensive..

Hankook rt03: £130
kumho kl71: £120
maxxis bighorn: £110
( prices for fitted)
does that seem a bit expensive or the norm now?
do you know of anywhere cheaper in my area ( i have been ringing round)?
and any experience/ advice about the tyres?

Have you tried these, UK Tyres Online: Cheap Car Tyres Shop | Blackcircles.com ? None of our local dealers could get anywhere near their prices even after paying them to fit them.

yer ive looked at there site pretty much the same prices as ats euromaster. infact AT2's are a fiver cheaper at my local indepent place. ill just have to hope something good comes up on ebay

I've just been nudged in the general direction of this thread (cheers Mad Hat Man)!

We supply Aurora RT02 tyres, currently £93.99 in the size you're after. They can normally be fitted for around £10 a corner by your local fitter.

Aurora tyres are manufactured by Hankook (note the similar model numbers!) and come with a 5-year defect guarantee.
