Sorry, it's this old chestnut again.
I did search for previous posts on here and just ended up more confused than I started .

OK, I have a recently-purchased 110 CSW 200tdi on shiny steel rims shod with General GrabberAT2 - LT 265/75 R 16 tyres. There's a note scribbled in the front of the Haynes manual that came with it which says "38 Front, 45 Rear", but that sounds a bit high to me.

I gather I should 'up' the rear pressure by about 5psi when loaded-up/towing, but what should I try for normal road use?

I run on 35psi front and 42psi rear

40psi all round.

personal preferance-I run mine on 30 allround without any handling or tyre wear problems

Same as stevek 30 all around even when green laning.

Seems I should try 30 then! (unless others post something different...)

BTW - Are these tyres larger diameter than standard?
If so, they will presumably affect the speedo and mileometer readings.
Any idea by how much?

They are virtually the same height as the standard 235/85/16 so will not effect your speedo any more than a set of worn standard tyres would.

That's good to know, thanks...wouldn't want to be caught out by a mis-reading speedo!
