I don't off the top of my head, but I have heard they are hard to get now.Does anyone know where I can get the "Turbo" decal for the rear of my 1989 110 fitted with a 19j engine. Managed to get all others but this one seems like hens teeth.
Thx
Not sure if that is what he wants. The one on the back of mine was a black oval.
Didn’t realise they used oval turbo decals? Not sure if that is what he wants. The one on the back of mine was a black oval.
It was Oval, black and white, about 8 inches across. and said Turbo on it.Didn’t realise they used oval turbo decals?
I can’t recall ever seeing those, but I’ll take your word for it!It was Oval, black and white, about 8 inches across. and said Turbo on it.
You still see them on some vehicles now, though some people scraped them off when they fitted Tdi.
The sticker is the reason for my username. When I was joining the forum, I looked out of the window, and saw the sticker on the back of the Ninety which I then owned. So I typed in Turbo, and then added the suffix man, because I identify as a male person.
I doubt if most people take much notice, Unless they have a Ninety or One Ten, which were only made for about 7 years. And not all had Turbodiesels.I can’t recall ever seeing those, but I’ll take your word for it!
So you weren’t just really quick at running then? Mine comes from the number plate and colour, genius.
I know as much about dogs as I do about Landies! Not a bloody lot.I doubt if most people take much notice, Unless they have a Ninety or One Ten, which were only made for about 7 years. And not all had Turbodiesels.
I am never sure about the name, it sounds like some kind of superhero, and I haven't had the Ninety for years.
But I can't change it, and have got used to it by now.
I had always assumed yours came from having a dog, such as a Blue Heeler, or a Blue Merle corgi, inasmuch as I had thought about it at all.
That is yet another sticker. My 89 Ninety had the oval black one, with white writing. I liked it, because it had a throwback to the Series grille badge, before green ovals came into existence.Thx for the replies.
See the attached...this is the one that I am looking for, its on a 1989 110.
There are some on ebay at around £50 each!!!!
At that price it will be a "GB" sticker.View attachment 223390 View attachment 223390

It’s a V8 decal, which is why it’s a bit more expensive than the more common diesel turbo decals.
Didn’t read his intro properly! The one I’ve listed looks to be the correct decal however. How can it be a V8 decal on a four cylinder vehicle?
Been looking into this a bit more, and it appears that my memory was incorrect on this occasion.Didn’t read his intro properly! The one I’ve listed looks to be the correct decal however.
Memory like a err, one of those small swimmy orange thingies.Been looking into this a bit more, and it appears that my memory was incorrect on this occasion.
The Black Oval in fact says Land Rover, and is in effect a larger vinyl copy of the Series Grille badge.
The turbo decal is underneath, and says turbo. The font is fairly simple, and I would think it would be possible to hand paint one of those, possibly using wide masking tape cut out to form the letters before painting.

That’s it! An elephant.A silverfish, you mean?
I cant remember now how I chose my username.I can’t recall ever seeing those, but I’ll take your word for it!
