Do we know it doesn't harm the seals?? Time will tell.
Hi Andy. You mentioning the seal and how it might behave, persuaded me to run a test.
I placed several washers and a grommet, all made from oil-based rubber, neoprene, nylon, proper-rubber and a piece of aluminium bar, into a tray full of Mr Muscle.
Left for a day and a half, I removed the pieces and cleaned them with warm water and Fairy dish-washing detergent.
There were no apparent signs of wear or damage, or anything else that looked out of the ordinary.
The aluminium had gained a sheen, looking like it had been given a good clean, which it had by all accounts.
I recall watching a YouTube video where a chap did something similar to aluminium and likewise there was no damage done.
The tubing I used to inject the cleaner into my Turbo has also been unscathed by the chemical.
So, apart from carbon and grease, Mr Muscle seems to be a good-all-rounder.
