now this I like...if I ever get some money together after fixing mine this will be the nxt project...yummy but prob not everyones cup of tea:)

from an engineering point of view, it looks very well put together, nice braces welded in at the various stress points of the cage.

If your going to that extreem, then length is your enemy as you say.
I question the use of 300`s though, is there too much electrikery, or can you bypass it ok.
(like fit a 200?)
 
just noticed the lugs welded into the rear part of the door "holes"
must be to fix sheet metal/ally into the shape, but leaves the reduced front part for getting yer lags over :)
