Hi y'all
I have seen Buster's excellent "how to" for renewing the front seal and bearing on the transfer box, but I cannot find any reference or threads on doing the rear seal and bearing. I had a new front seal fitted by local garage in August 2010 but they have retired and the new garage owner aint to my liking.
Is there much difference between the two or does anyone happen to know if there is a thread on doing the rear seal/bearing?
I'm hoping to get into it this week as I am on holiday and mot is due next month and I need to see to a few brake pipes, probably a wheel bearing and the handbrake is u/s (oil on shoes I suspect.) So while I'm renewing the front seal and bearing, I'd like to renew the rear seal/bearing at the same time.
Thanks in advance,
Ron.
