Hi,
Firstly vehicle details
Range Rover Vogue L322 Diesel 2004 MYR
Can anyone offer any advice on :-
Fault is an intermittent non start issue, enter using fob no problems, turn key, cranks over fine (no battery low voltage issues)....spins over but does not fire up.
I have a Transfer Box Fuse 37 problem and have to do this
Transfer Neutral - in order to get into transfer neutral a fuse is placed in position 37 of the Fuse Box behind the glove box....have a look and ensure there is not fuse in position 37....if there is - Place Gearbox in Neutral, ingnition off, remove fuse, ignition to Position 2, Select a drive range using the Hi-Lo selector, select Park and ignition Off....
My question is if there is a problem with the Transfer Box ECU ,,,,would it cause a Non Start to occur as described ?
I have connected up a Sealy scanner (not the most in depth but its all i had to hand) and got :-
1). CAN BUS Instrument Cluster fault code
2). Brake Verification fault code
Further info :-
If i move the PRNDL up and through the gate (fuse 37 out )..the vehicle will start ok....normally the fault occurs on the first initial start after being left overnight.
Any thoughts on the next step ?
cheers
