+1, My niece went to KwickFit with a Picaso to have four new tyres and tracking. They broke the wheel locking nut and tried to force another non fitting nut crossed thread on each wheel!!, fitted the wrong tyres and the tracking was so bad that when she gave me a lift the wheels wobled at over 50. Took five visits to get it half decent then went to a professional outfit which sorted everything out. Kwikfit customer services called a few times to find out if the service was up to standard - can't repeat the reply.
Your best bet is a independent or a land rover dealer. I bet your steering wheel is off center. You will need centralise the steering box first then adjust the drag link to get the steering wheel straight and then adjust the tracking. Even most landrover specialist get this wrong. You will have no hope getting a kwik fit halfords or an sts type place to get it right first time.

Ive done mine that way and all is well, but my tracking was ok before I took my steering box off to replace the lower seal.
I see, the steering wheel is a little off center, its scrubing the OS front tyre on the inside, thought it would be an easy job for a tyre place, WRONG lol. Thanks gents.
It is an easy job, IF you know what you are doing. If the track is out it should be scrubbing both sides equally across the tread. Maybe the camber is out. Steering wheel is centered by adjusting drag link to centralise steering box after tracking.

The NS tyre is ok, just the OS inside edge of the tyre, it tramlines a little bit and woz gona get a new steering damper to see if that sorts the tramlining out, turns out theirs a 4x4 garage just up the road from me that just deals with land and range rovers, bloke at work just told me about it, he takes his Landy there, says it like going back in time going there and really knows his stuff, sounds like my type of place so will nip there in the morning.
All sorted, take it in a week tomorrow, 45 quid, he said the tyres still ok and should put it on the back,any problems with it just give him a ring at any time, a really great bloke and back in time is right, cobwebs and dust all over that looks like its been there since 1850, lol a real old style garage. :5bdriving:

Yeah, lol he had loads of sawdust on the floor round the four poster with a RRS sat in the air over it. Been to a tyre fitters just to see wot they say, came out with wot I think woz a load of :censored:, saying it needs a four wheel alignment and that's 112 quid, right load of :censored: all other tyres are fine but gona stick the avons on the back as back tyres are going in the middle, woz 40 PSI when I got it, down to 30 now and a lot better. will put new tyres on the front. :rolly:
Hope that's not a four poster bed otherwise you will never get your job done my tyre pressures are 35 r and 28 f according to the owner manual. 98 2.5 dse.
