We tow a caravan with our Range Rover. At first it went no bothers butthen she began having problems. If there was any sort of incline in the road and a bit of pressure put on the gearbox shed overheat,go into limp mode,we'd be stuck at the side of the road for ages waiting for her to cool down before we could top up with water,we changed the clips that go from the rad to the engine, dont know the proper term for them but we replaced them with jubilee clips and hasnt overheated since, thank god,but this year while in France the blooming airbags went.Just wondering if she's suitable for towing. Is it too much pressur on an automatic or should I be best towing with a manual.I want to keep the Rangie, its deadly but its a nightmare when we have to depend on it.
