Been to Whitby towing a 1200kg caravan. There are some serious hills before you arrive at Whitby, the disco was F***ing rubbish!! I had coaches overtaking me whilst I was doing 20mph in 2nd with no where else to go.
Is this how 300tdi's are on hill towing? If so I might go back to an estate..!
Any idea what a 1996 300 tdi disco ES is worth?.... 158,000 miles. +2inch lift, snorkel, air con, leather seats all good.
 
Tweaked pump ?

I;ve towed more than that in my 96 disco, was able to cope wit hill in my area no problem, able to door 30mph but struggled to get more without thrashing it,

Dont know what to say though about yours,

Most 300tdi Discos i;ve seen go from £800 upto £5k
