Fairly sure lift pump is ok...would struggle all the time wouldn't it

When you say change all fluids do you mean axle, gear box, transfer box, engine oil....Not necessarily. There is a huge difference (in engine demand) between driving on normal roads, unladen, and driving up 1 in 4 hills with a caravan on the back.
The first first I would want to do is to ensure that the vehicle is running correctly, which would require giving it a full service to establish a baseline. All this fiddling with pumps will not help at all if there is an inherent mechanical problem.
Change all fluids, change all filters, check turbo hoses for internal delamination, check brakes for binding; grease prop shafts ect etc.
Once that lot is done, a base for further diagnosis has been established and we can move forward.

Like I said earlier I use it for daily commute on a1 for 20 miles doing 70 no probsi can vouch for the effect on power of getting the injedtor pump adjustment wrong, i turned mine the wrong way, it started just fine but did not have the strength to reverse over a 2inch bump to get out of the shed :5bbanghead:
