each of these injuns came with various carb and tunning packages giving a range of HP from around 180HP to over 5000HP, and like any engine the more you squeeze outta it the less lifespan it has.

so you could easily get a shed load more power and torque from yer rover v8. if you wanted to shorten the life of it, much like the bmw engines and jap bike engines

when you stop pretending you work in, let alone own a garage and start listening to what those that know tell yer the sooner you'll be taken of the **** list.

They used the 5.7 chevy engine didn't they? I'm asking slob not telling

The coont tried his best to kill me and didn't seem that concerned about any other **** on the road either. If it was my regular route I'd wait fer the fecker and follow him home an trash the bloody thing. If he ain't got a car he can't be a danger to other road users.

I run a 300 tdi Disco. I use it for regular 3t towing and weekend fun plus as a family car. I am thinking of changing it for an LPG V8 disco 2 with all the toys. Am I mad or will it be a good move, I know there is no substitute for cubes but am I looking at a servicing cost/fuel cost nightmare. If it turns out to be not much more than running a td5 then it seems to make sense as the purchase cost is much lower.

Looking forward to 8 in a V, subject to replies.

a much better option is to find out where he parks it and sneek up one night armed with two or three cans of expanding foam and a cordless drill

Did that to an xr3i filled his exhaust full of the stuff. wish ah'd been there in the morning when he started it up. or there's the ball bearing down the sparkplug hole. and replace sparkplug. that'll fook his injin up pronto
 
Just to let ya know when I said "stab stab no more mr fast" I was referring to stabbing his tires not the **** who was driving.

fook the eggsaust. sit on the roof with yer cordless and put a small hole in center of ruth. then empty all yer tins of foam into the fooker.. just thinkabout the effect of that lot once it sets
 
A nice big handful of sugarlumps into his tank ... best about a pound of lumps as it's easier to get in without leaving traces .... petrol or diesel, doesn't matter ..... and in due course ..... well, let's say the performance will become somewhat less exciting ..... and I am told that a jar or two of honey is just as effective.

I've seen a head and pistons after that treatment. I had to take it off and fix it. Not even Riggas best snake-oil potions would clear a black rock-hard mess like that.

Beauty is it takes a tankful of driving to get it done and he might be a LOOOONG way away when it splutters to a halt.

Not that I'm suggesting you do this, mind ...
