right i've managed to get in thru the drivers door and have extracted the lock mechanism/black box full of witchcraft, which on further inspection seems to have suffered from water ingress, as far as i am able to accertain its been runnin down one of the metal connecting rods from the key barrell:eek: im picking up another lock off a breaker tommorrow so i'll no doubt be back here on monday giving out that it wont re-sync and has locked itself!!!! thanks for the replies lads and i'll leyt you know how i get on.

right then finally got the break in the weather and time to go at the replacement door lock, it went in easy as pie, asked me for the eka code which i entered and bingo all the doors ublock and the engine starts :):):) i've locked and unlocked a dozen or so times and all seems good. thanks for the replies and help and merry christmas!!!

I love a happy ending....

Yuletide Falicitations to you and yours too...

Did mine last night on my spear key, had to remove the lead on the battery to put the hot start in, I just put the key in the ignition, (look at the fob as your doing it) the red led light will start to flash on the fob, KEEP it pressed, and the light will flash faster, then stop, then do the same with the other button, and all should be fine
