I have read the issues of starting , unlocking bypassing wires to start the car , but,
I used my big blue heap on the Saturday, no problems. Parked him up, locked with the fob. Went to unlock him on Monday morning and he just laughed at me!
I changed the fob battery (just in case) fob lit up as normal. Nothing.
Tried the key in the lock still nothing.
Tried the eka code retrieved from LR dealer, nothing, it doesn’t even sound as though the door lock is even engaging when I turn the key in the lock.
After having a big girl paddy I managed to pull the rear window down, got in put the key in the ignition in the hopes I could open the doors from inside, WRONG! But I did manage to disturb several neighbours with the horn of the alarm resonating round the street. So, can anyone help with this issue.
Any help would be most appreciated

As your door latch seems to be fubar as well and you can't remobilise it with the EKA code all you can do is to replace the RF receiver and hope it's that otherwise you'll have to replace the door latch actuator to be able to insert the code or things can become more complicated

As per what Ferry said, but do you have another key fob you can try? Also, if you are very lucky, sometimes if you hold the fob as close to the RF receiver in the roof near the rear sunroof and operate unlock it will unlock.

Good luck.
