Bought for the tyres, not yet decided what to do with the alloys, might paint them the same colour as the undercarriage :D

Samples of colours are in the post for that:bounce:

Eh up stu, I bort 2 sets of 5 matching for 40 quid, series steel rims 750 16s set of bfg and set of wrangler

I'd spray the wheels black just to brake it up a bit,

Ye but got the smiths alloys to go on and the white modular ones that are on. Do I keep a third set???

Just turned my laptop on and the screen is fubar, guessing my 3 year old jumped on it:mad:

Anyway back to the rangy, lucky I forgot my camera so got pics on my phone :p

Managed to get the tank out but the towbar bolts are still rusted in the chassis.

Started on the sills as well. Made a new one and cut the old one out. Need to cut more away but lost the feeling in my feet so called it a night.

Got to get some thin metal to replace the door seal holders then will cut more out.

Does anyone want to buy some vogue alloys before they get weighed in?

wow you still got a and b posts !!!

A posts need work but B posts are solid. Both sides as well:eek:

Haven't decided weather to rebuild the A posts myself or buy new bits

Your colour looks good on the web.

Rear arches ordered, paint samples in the post, decided to cut more out of the sills and rebuild the seal track.

Decision to make, do I spend Thursday night working on the Rangy or should I go home and spend it with my wife? It's only February 14th...

depends upon if you ewant a burnt out rangie on friday and ever to have a shag again really??

i WILL be not playing rangie, but playing with .......(and its not myself before you barstards comment!)

Got a table booked for 8.30 so that's the wife looked after, now back to the topic.

As I may have secured a 3.5 efi rangy on 38k, if everything works on the engine is it worth swapping the carb engine for the EFI? Is it a difficult job to wire it in?

Just confirmed that I have got a few spares for the project....

If this will run then might fit it in

The parts I want are fetching more on flebay than I have paid for the whole car. The rest is a bonus. If the engine runs without much effort then will put it in. The rest will be sold for parts or scrapped depending on condition, it's local and I can store it at work for free..

Another day another few dollars lighter

The latest parts order, this time from island 4x4. Although don't remember ordering the sill mounts!

As I now have the arches it's out with the disc cutter :D

Started off cutting away what the replacement parts will cover.

Then decided there was still far to much rot left so cut all of that away

Think I am going to be plating lots of bits.

Now that is chopped away it was back to the sill, up front wasn't to bad, but cut it all out anyway :p

Whilst doing that I needed a bit more room, so took the inner wing off

16 bolts later.............

Forgot to take the flexy break hoses off :banghead:

Fooking things were being a pain so as I am replacing the wing I cut the bracket off with the grinder :sly:

Still didn't get the space I required, so thought for all of a second, then cut the footwell out

That did the trick, all cut out ready for welding, didn't want to cut good floor away and mess about rebuilding the seal tracking so I have cut slots along the top of where the box will be to stitch weld it in, going to drill holes in the inner sill, as that is in good condition, to spot weld that to the box
