TD5s in good condition seem to be a lot more than that these days. So I'm not sure why they've priced it so low.

It seems well under half the price it should be. Very tidy 130,000 mile late TD5 110 CSW should be what, £12-13,000
This one's £5400?
And not sold yet? I thought there'd be a queue at their door with the phone ringing off the wall.

Most likely because it's a scam. `
Maybe so. When I was looking for mine there was one repeatedly advertised that was conspicuously cheaper than all the others. I kept away from it because something didn't feel right. Some TD5s are around the £5000 mark these days but they generally look more tatty.

The Ebay seller has not sold anything before, as for buying they've only bought fancy dress items and other tat.

To be fair the car looks alright and if I was local id investigate further. It is ridiculously cheap though and I always think if it looks too good to be true then it probably is. But then that little part of me thinks........

If it's a genuine sale you could buy it and sell it straight on at double the money, and the buyer would still be getting a bargain.

Yeah

i looked at a vehicle L200 with that sort of caper ages ago
ebay contacted me and told me they were investigating the seller, have put it in my watch list and we shall see if same thing happens again

Probably find it has outstanding finance or something def too cheap.

It's only a classified listing, you can't actually buy it. I guess when you contact him/her it will be 'that's just the deposit price' or 'that ones Actually sold, but we have another for 12k' etc.

There's lots of "cheap" ones on eBay at the moment - and there is more coming on all the time. Must be spam.

When I was looking at buying a Defender in October 2015 I found one I liked near Reading and contacted the guy. I remember his listing as he said he bought the Defender for his wife and she didn't like the drive and kept putting the dogs in his X6 instead. I went to see it etc and guy was all genuine but it was a bit too pricey in the end. Its was £12,500

Yesterday same LR came on eBay for £4,496 as a classified ad - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-Land...230682?hash=item3f5c76d29a:g:Sy8AAOSwB4NWwPx9

It has the identical pictures the original guy used to sell it and the identical description in the listing. Except it now has something about contact with a mobile number only if you want to discuss. Oh and it's new selling location is in Liverpool.

So they've taken his pictures and his description and are trying to scam folk to giving a mobile number. Maybe to sell it or bombard with calls?

I still have the contact details for the guy in Reading - I was wondering if I should contact him to let him know?

Maybe this one too - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Land-Rove...921563?hash=item4af93a35db:g:j~MAAOSwB4NWwTny

Seems very cheap for a 2009 county?

Well, l messaged the seller of the 110 saying l was interested in it, and asking if l could have a look at it, and unsurprisingly have had no reply.

There's several land rovers listed like this every day. It's not just defenders either. All kinds of cars are listed at prices too good to be true. WeBuyAnyCar would no doubt pay the seller more money. It's got to be a scam. I'm just not sure how it works and don't want to test with my own number.

Why do they want mobile numbers?
I think they sell them on.
Whenever i see seem gly cheap vehicles i put their reg into we buy any car, if they offer more money I forward the vender to link and tell them they should sell there. If I don't get a response I strongly guess it's a scam.

There are loads of them on ebay, they usually have contact details in the listing and say to leave a message. I just keep reporting them, I think it's the "working on an oil rig so can't send more info" scam
