My SGS 3-ton jack and stands are really well built. Also well priced and quick delivery.
As Clarke were mentioned as a good option earlier, here's a lovely shot of my 3T SGS beside my 3T Clarke. Feel free to draw your own conclusions as to which might be more stable and better built!
I got the little red one too and stable it aint, I only use it as a backup for small stuff I would never entertain using it on my D1 thats what my 3 ton SGS is forAs Clarke were mentioned as a good option earlier, here's a lovely shot of my 3T SGS beside my 3T Clarke. Closest I can find is this Clarke (mine's pretty old!) at £119.98 inc
It looks like this one which is the same as mine.

Iirc , I got mine for under £50. Agree, It is not the most stable trolley jack, But as a home use DIY jack to lift to put onto axle stands it does the job as long as you make sure you have it on a good base to work from ( same as any other jack in that regards).
Cheers
not have to need them
I just spat my tea out....................
Cheers
What's wrong with a scissor Jack and a couple of well aimed bricks?
