Well done!!! On finding probably the most pointless picture on the internet.
Thank you for acknowledging that via the most pointless post in this thread?

Interesting reading the posts on here...as usual we've strayed a little from the original post. I agree the Evoque is very marmite - love/hate, when I first saw pics of them I didn't like them, when I saw my first on the road I laughed and pointed.
However, my other half does 40K miles a year, and wanted something that would get her there in comfort and safety, particularly with the UK's inability to handle bad weather or prepare the roads for it. We went up to look, I must admit I was swayed, I cant stand "Posh", but the interior styling of the Evoque is stunning, when we test drove, it handled well, had lots of poke and a comfortable driving position with a lot of thought put into it.
End result hers is due in Dec, the missus loves it and I'm looking forward to it, like it or hate it, its definitely cutting edge stuff. I'm keeping my P38 to pull the horse trailer, it does look like a metrocab, but I love it and touch wood, its going strong, between us we've had Disco's and Defenders so neither of us are new to LR/RR.
I'm now considering seeing if I can get one as my new company car...
All companies trade on brand names these days, they know they can sell crap if it has the right brand on it.I fully get the aim in LR developing the Evoque to attract new generations to the brand but to call it a Range Rover is just capitalizing on the top marque of their range of which the Evoque falls FAR short...the fact they offer a 2WD is just a contradiction to RR's

Surprisingly we have had an Ejoke in the village for the last couple of weeks. I notice that LR have stuck to their policy of fitting discs the size of cocoa tin lids, tiny compared to the comparable Honda,
:hysterically_laughi:hysterically_laughiThey did that on purpose with the Ejoke. Retardation is restricted in case the tray with the curlers in tips over. No restriction on retards buying them though, as far as i am aware.
