Glad your ok. When similar happened to me, it flipped the 4x4 and we all suffered bad injuries.

The main thing is you are ok and the horses are safe. We all love our discos but life is precious. Where in wales are you from ? There's a td5 by me for sale , I'll have a look later if it's an auto.

I'm South Wales but be willing to travel :) thank you
Glad you and the osses are all ok,but when looking for your next TD5,please make sure the chassis is solid,as they are reknowned for rusting, badly, especially the rear section, and more so round the fuel tank area, did I mention, check for rust.;)

Good plan! :) Never improves towing safety if the rear crossmember falls off! :D

In view of your recent experience maybe a below 7.5 ton box would be better bet , that is if your licence covers it ?

give it some time

You're a right ray of sunshine aren't you?

No just a realist and 35 years with horses and other live stock. So experience comes into play
I cannot speak for Jo, but if I were in her position I wouldn't want to read your self opinionated crap at this time. Don't you think she's been through enough without your Doomsday approach. You should learn when to keep your (metaphorical) mouth shut, but in reality I bet you are wishing for the day when you can say 'I told you so.'

I stand by my original assessment.

Dont think calling him names and seeing its OK you can express your opinion why he should be denied his expression of opinion , particularly in view of his experience , which I would also concur with , from my experience . JMHO none intended :)

Sorry to hear this news. Glad you are all okay.
To avoid others having such an experience, please can you say when you last checked all of your tyre pressures and had the trailer serviced? If others can learn something from this, it may well prevent a worse outcome.
