Hi Nathan ,

I have emailed BBS as the unit needs unlocking, so it can be locked onto another P38.

All being well there is only a small admin fee to pay ?

When I get the cost of the unlock , I will PM you .

Dunno wether to sell my Faultmate FCR . I am strapped for cash .. ??
:(

Ahem, foot , gun, shoot!!

If you're strapped it might make more sense to sell the Rangie:eek::eek:

You bought the FCR to save you money, in the long run it undoubtedly will so unless you've got a buddy nearby who can read faults for free it won't make that much economic sense to sell the FCR.

Ok that sounds good. How about a fiver and packet of Maltesers, a full unopened pack of Crunchy Nut cornflakes and a Mars bar.

Now you are just being silly and overpaying, why pay all that when you have a Nanocom:rolleyes::doh:

Good point. Serious piece of very capable kit Keith. Came without any written instructions it being a pre release one, but Colin is doing usage videos which i am sure will build up to a full explination of it's capabilities. Will be great when i learn how to drive it. :):)

L.z ers .

I can purchase a new license at a cost, however my unit is the Faultmate FCR , model FCR 60 for the P38, I have emailed BBS to see if the unit can be licensed for another vehicle . I.e a Disco..
I will post results tomorrow

News from BBS, as my FCR is the model 60 for the P38 , an additional OBD / port lead would be needed to fit say a Disco .... Costing 95 Euros.... So best if a P38 owner wants to buy it ... More cost effective

I have sent a PM to all that have responded on this thread and by PMs sent to me .

1st come 1 st servered so to say
