Pretty much ready to start the swap over, just waiting on a few bits and pieces for the clutch lever. New mounts arrived for the engine.

So the usual cracked clutch fork, just about ready to pop through, looked at a few different replacements and decide to go for drilling it out and using the inserting the cup and nylon Bush, should make it nicer to operate and prevent it from drying out in future.

looks like a good project . guessing your in Scotland, ( deep fried Pizza land )
Deep fried pizza? Is that really a thing? I actually tried deep fried Mars bar, mainly just to say i had. Can't say i was too impressed.
Deep fried... good.
Mats bar... good.
Deep fried Mars bar... not so good.
I can't help thinking that deep fried pizza would just be a waste of good pizza!
I tried deep fried haggis too. I don't want to talk about that...

Wee bit of progress, old slt out and the auto box too, output shaft on the auto box was so worn, that it must have been a bawhair away from completely striping!
No wonder there was a heavy clunk when going forward to reverse.

Both props are also needing the uj's replaced too and the input gear on the transfer box is scrap too as are the diff gears I think due to the black treacle in the transfer.

Got a bit of rebuilding to do and then get started putting back together.

Never heard of it reckon it would be good after few beers tho my fave is chicken meat n chips and garlic sauce with a pita

ps the Landy looks good too

Got my box from ashcroft today, lt230 gaskets and bearings, new input gear.
Might get a chance to strip the box this weekend, still hoping the diff gears will be OK, but we'll soon see??
