Afternoon,
Just thought I'd say hello...
Drove my new Ebay purchase home last night
2001 TD5 ES 85k miles cheap as chips, but as they say you get what you pay for
Footwells soaking on arriving home (Aircon condensate?)
HDC ABS & TCS Lights all on
Oil leak (Not sure where from yet)
Ashtray jammed shut
Cup Holder sticking
I could go on but I'd probably start crying.......I think I'm going to become good friends with my local LR Man, but considering the price I shouldn't grumble too much.
I've always had a soft spot for Dicos since I did a bit of work durablity testing the Storm & Tempest engines at Millbrook, also spent some time on the ACE (Not my fault if it goes wrong I was only a driver!!!!)
I'm looking forward to a long and not too expensive relationship, also to gettingit muddy,they look much better that way.
