Another update

Hi all

Usual codes this morning and then wouldn't start, lots of foul language

I done a hard reset disconneted both terminals waited half hour touched together then reattached, on doing so I realised the terminals didn't tighten up enough and they moved around, some tin foil latter and presto all running again. But this time only the " transmission fault limited gears message" and I only get 1,2&3
No sign of the park brake and HDC inactive fault
So looks like I'm down to one fault now

Got my tester and battery is 12.9v, alternator is 14.3 both on tick over and at 2000 revs, should it go up once the engine revs?

At least I feel like I'm slowly getting somewhere

Just need some advice on the above please guys

Regards

Paul

Ps if when gearbox service was carried out and not filled correctly would it throw this fault up?.

Are you saying that the battery voltage is 12.9v on tick over/2K rpm? If so, there is a 1.4 volt drop from alternator to battery which is not correct.

Possibly. Sometimes the action of fresh ATF is enough to dislodge some debris and cause some issues. Normally when you change the ATF it doesn't all come out so it takes 2 or 3 goes to get 99% changed. Regular changes mitigate this. If anyone says sealed for life, walk away.

Hi all

I've held off posting until I was absolutely sure it was cured.

Basically over a week now and all is fine

So it was the battery in the end and my **** poor attempt and putting it in, garage got the terminals properly tight
Cleared the codes and now all seems to be good

So fingers crossed

Thank you to all for the advice

It is a bit bonkers that a loose terminal on the battery can cause all these fault codes
