i've learned buying a simple thing like a bulb from a shop for a spot lamp isnt easy... online shopping is great but i feel its taking away from the high street big time

I always find terrestrial shopping a bit of a disappointment these days. They've never got the size or colour I want, or it doesn't come with the right fittings on it, or it's expensive compared to the internet. That's true whether it's a thing for the Land Rover, a domestic appliance or an item of clothing. Plus the time you waste struggling through the huddled masses between shops or waiting in queues.

I've learned going for a drive on a day like today around the Staffordshire Moorlands stopping for a Kellly Kettle coffee by the River Manifold doing some accidental off roading, and then told to come back and finish the route properly by one of the farmers after lots and lots of extreme reversing ending with a long chat with some radio ams up on Flash Moor, i just happened to have my old searanger radio with me, is a bloody good way to spend a Sunday.
