I've heard there's some greenlanes in thetford?
Me and my girlfriend plan on camping in the forest this weekend coming and thought I may as well make the most of it and do some lanes while I'm there :D

My 110's pretty standard bar a steering guard, front diff guard and a snorkel I don't trust...

Little butch,

Check out the Norfolk County Council interactive map for the routes that are open. I assume you're staying in a recognised campsite in the forest?

Be careful with the Harewood Way / Track 23 at Santon Downham - it's frequently used for "other activities".... but don't let that put you off - the Brandon end is a good lane

Most lanes are flat and sandy so you shouldn't have any trouble. Also check out Kings Forest - on the Bury side of the A11....

Have fun!

Darren

I may be over there Sunday as it happens, you got a CB?

I would be up for some lanes (haven't been out in a couple of months ) but unfortunately I will be at the F1 at SPA.....

Maybe next time.....

I'm struggling to find a nice campsite. All I'm after if a small minimalist campsite, not a fancy one for caravaners and glampers... Something nice tucked away in the forest... Is there such thing?

If you're going dogging just say so.. no need to be shy! :)

I'm sure there is a campsite on the road between Brandon and thetford and another one on the road to swaffham from Mundford......

Like I said people living on the main drag through kings forest for a few years now but I do know some of the local lads like to go laning at night so no guarantee of a good nights kip unless you wander off the track then of course the vehicle can become a target for tea leaves....

Didn't know Ipswich was big on dogging.....
Dogging is so popular that Suffolk CC have not yet made a definitive map. Every time the ROW officers go out to check a lane they get "distracted"
Even the park and ride car parks are used for just that, and as for the laybys.........

Hi Darren,

Getting a bit worried about your dogging obsesesion, will have to keep the doors locked next time we go out!!!
