lea you have three amigo's and you have posted on my post about vibration from that i would say the twom are linked i.e. nakered hub giving said fault and vibration at speed. You said you were going to start with wheel balancing, play in hub three amigo's air gap, wobbley wheel.

I was also pondering a potential link. I'm carrying out the freebie ground inspection first, then wheel balancing, then will ponder the SVS mod/hub. The code indicates SVS with no other codes across the SLABS or any other unit, well apart from a code 22 on the aircon, something about off-side sensor but that doesn't seem to have effected anything - could have been there for a while.

The reason to post a bout the vibration was indeed to get an understanding wether the hub would cause the sensation I feel and perhaps make a link.

We shall see.

Cheers

Hi All

Thought I'd start yet another thread so I didn't hi-jack a previous one.

I begin the 'three amigos' investigation on my '52 Disco 2 this week.

Only occurs very intermittently (once every 100 miles or more), seems to be triggered when braking (twice even just stationary) and at slow speeds.

Pads and discs are quite worn but was hoping to hold off for a while as this job isn't inexpensive.

Might try a fluid change first and sensor connector check for fault ;-) Anyone know how to identify the ABS sensor connectors/where they are?

Looking at nanocom too, but £350 is quite an outlay...

Lea

I've got a Nanocom 1 (old version) for sale if you're interested.
Looking for around £160. It does most of the things the new one does - except gearbox faults (as far as I know).
I've used it for ABS fault clearing, self clear windscreen enabling, temperature measurement etc etc - good bit of kit
