All depends where you live and if it would cause issues with your neighbours.

Also depends on the mood of the local planning officer !!!!!

yes...

Went to France last year ,two deposit`s went into my account [1200 dollars] ,then someone added a new bank account in Southampton [England] and took it out ,then the dollars bounced....

So I am £800 in the red ,now paypal are slowely closing my other paypal accounts one with £200 in....

Phoned them loads of times with no joy...

A debt colection company contacted me in November for the £800 , but they have seemed to have disapeared now....

I went to police in November and they said paypal have to sort it and they hav`nt..

So I am stuck ....

would that also apply to a 20ft by 30ft wooden workshop at the bottom of my garden?

General rules.
Not within 5m of the house
Not to exceed 72 cubic meters calculated by measuring by the greatest external dimentions
Not to be within 1m of the property boundaries
Not to exceed 4.2m in height
The overall volume is not to exceed 50% of the house capacity

These are the rules generally across the country but there are some local variances. Check with building control at your local council.

ta Sheddy - ho ho - wot an apt name ;)

Ok Slob - I take the point - i hadnt looked at Sheddys CP when i made the above comment. We cant all be so clevva as yu, but that is why yu are the Oracle and we all bow to your superior knowledge. Maybe Retsgom, you can retire and let Slob do ya business?
Without wishing to promote a company, Sheddy do ya take commissions?

This is quite a good idea :D

On the question of car ports, me doris lives in a council house, now she has a rear drive and would like to cover it, i.e. wooden frame structure with some corrugated (i cant spell) plastic, is this classed as permanent structure??

Yeah i know, but i am looking for the legality side with the council as its their house, they wont allow a permanent structure without permission from them first, but if its classed as non permanent structure then i think we can get away with it :D
