looks like it's fixing itself, down to 23mpg coming home, a few more traffic jams and it will be back to normal, 20mpg.
All fixed now, back to 20.3 mpg

Believe it or not a well maintained V8 with nothing wrong with it WILL do high teens around town mine does 18.2 around the doors, so long as it isn't driven like a moron.
The highest i've got was 25.2 at 60 with CC on
All calculated with pen and paper, i have a fuel journal too, helps identify any consumption issues that might of gone unnoticed..
The trip is actually accurate to a few tenths on mine.
Best I had was 35 on a long run to Cornwall

..I had 11mpg offroading in low, that's the lowest I've ever seen.
