I see you have the later light lenses too.

Yes later lenses all round (except indicator on one side in pic). other side is clear indicator with amber bulb because that wing and bonnet was salvaged off a my2000 after I rolled. They are two panels wrong colour :( didn’t have Henry watch my back then. But no can tell, unless they read this. doh!
If you look close there is a hole in light where I hit a wall , poor wall.

Also has chrome boot button (like J’s ;)). These all seem to have been fitted by the original owners as guy I had it off didnt change them, although there is no mention of lights in 19yrs of paperwork just loads and loads of LR EAS work mainly.

And hot start problem once it wore in is funny, as it was under warranty but no hot start fix had been invented then, they tried all sorts at JLR expense with no luck :D I fixed it with my bottle of water :D:D:D 20yrs later :D:p:D

Little known secret, is the Comet type wheels were "borrowed" from the Disco 2 as the wheels for the P38 were drying up during the end of production, especially the 18" hurricanes which usually featured on the Vogues and VSE's

They were introducted "borrowed" after Feb 2001.

Weird shyte i know, prolly of no interest though ;)

As you have your wheel head on.

Can you tell?

Those are a bespoke Overfinch wheel, most likely Arden manufactured.

To sidetrack slightly The overfinch weirdly got alot of it's design ideas from the same vintage of Bentley turbo R the Seats are a prime example. As were the tyres a special tyre was developed for the 630R and Turbo R - The Avon Turbospeed - ;)

More to the point The makers mark will be on the inner barrel of the wheel

usually here.. ;) ^^^

The 630R was like an Autobiography spec'd entirely by the customer, the donor vehicle was either a HSE or in your case a Vogue and all the Overfinch goodies were added per customer request.

25 630Rs were produced to celebrate 25yrs of overfinch, every Overfinch was different.

It is entirely possible your 630r is the only one with that wheel combination :)

I was hoping (as I was told, but not listed on OF invoices) that they were LR wheels:)

I need a fifth 1 (spare is standard)

This looks the same, I am in no hurry so guess I need to take 1 off and take a look and confirm LR or not number.

Yep, still trying to find out if all 25 were built and how many from a brand new car, might have to pay some money to OF for certificate for more info.

Thought a user on here had access to original build specs?
